Football player Mauro Icardi is the latest Paris Saint-Germain star to fall victim to burglary, with L'Equipe reporting that the striker has had more than $400,000 worth of items stolen while away with his team.
According to the French publication, the Argentine striker's Neuilly-sur-Seine home in the French capital was robbed on Saturday night while he was away with Mauricio Pochettino's side in Brittany, preparing for their Ligue 1 clash with FC Lorient.
The burglary was discovered by Mauro Icardi's staff on Sunday morning, noting that the perpetrators had forced entry into the property via window. Items stolen included jewellery, watches and designer clothing totalling an approximate $450,000.
Local authorities have been notified and on Sunday afternoon DNA samples and fingerprints were taken from the crime scene. The 27-year-old is just one of a string of PSG stars to be hit by burglaries in recent years.
