Queen Anne-Marie of Greece wore a poignant piece of jewelry that was not part of the Greek royal family: a diamond cross. The piece was a gift of her beloved parents, The King Frederick IX and the Queen Ingrid of Denmark.

The cross was worn by Queen Anne Marie for the first time in her wedding with a white gold and diamond necklace but for the funeral, she wore it with a big pearl necklace.  Before the death of her beloved husband, the Queen wore the jewelry piece at her son's wedding, Prince Phillipos last 2021.
