Chrissy Teigen is trying to make amends. The model and TV personality, 35, took to Twitter on May 12 and shared a lengthy apology to Courtney Stodden for bullying them on the social media platform back in 2011.
“Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bullsh*t in front of the entire world,” Chrissy Teigen began her statement. Although the mother-of-two didn’t share what it was she said about the singer and model, 26, nearly 10 years ago, Chrissy tried to explain her remorse.
“I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that…is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel,” John Legend's wife continued.
Chrissy Teigen went on to explain that she “tried to connect with Courtney privately but since I publicly fueled all this, I want to also publicly apologize. I’m so sorry, Courtney. I hope you can heal now knowing how deeply sorry I am.”
