“Everything ended fairly amicably,” Cody Simpson said of the pair’s August breakup during an interview on Australia’s “60 Minutes.” “It was just one of those phases, I guess. You go through [it] and you learn a lot from it,” the Australian singer, 24, continued.
Miley Cyrus, 28, was first linked to Cody Simpson in October 2019 following her split from Kaitlynn Carter of “The Hills: New Beginnings.” The “Wrecking Ball” singer had also separated from her husband, Liam Hemsworth, in August of that year.
