How much is the mansion that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turnen are selling?

traded California for Florida and now they want to part with their splendid oceanfront home for $17 million

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are one of the youngest and coolest couples in show business. Their careers in music, television and film are going from strength to strength, as they have started a family together with the birth of their second child this year and soon their checking account will be boosted substantially with the real estate deal they have in hand. The two artists have just put their stunning mansion in Miami's exclusive Bay Point neighborhood up for sale for a whopping $17 million. Of course, the house - which boasts a beautiful private dock - is as cool as they are: they bought it last year for 'just' $11 million and renovated it to their liking.

The musician, 33, and the 'Game of Thrones' actress, 26, moved from Los Angeles to Miami in September last year but, according to several U.S. media reports, they are now looking for a new home in New York. That is why they would like to get rid of their current mansion, set on a large plot of 150,000 m2.

The peculiar residence, which consists of six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, was built in the 1980s and, according to the description in the real estate ad that manages the sale, "reminiscent of the legendary creations of Frank Lloyd Wright". This famous American architect created the Prairie style and conceived the construction of a house as a work of art in itself, valuing horizontality rather than height and integrating it seamlessly with its surroundings.

To renovate the interior, Joe and Sophie hired renowned interior designer Sarah Ivory. They also did other interior and exterior renovations, such as landscaping the gardens.

WHAT IS THE INSIDE OF THE HOUSE LIKE?

The mid-century modern style house is furnished with an extravagant flair, especially the open plan living room, with high ceilings and a beautiful stone fireplace.

The living room has access to the lush greenery that surrounds the house, including walls of shrubs that provide privacy for its owners and tall palm trees that create a breathtaking view.
