No one knows what it's like to be the family of a star. 

Jamie Lynn Spears is famously known after starring in the children's series "Zoey 101" in which she and her classmates lived on a high school/college campus.

Regardless of the fame she achieved thanks to the series, she always had to live in the shadow of the pop princess, her older sister Britney Spears. The child actress says that it has been very hard for her, as she believes she has no identity for being in such a situation. Even so, she assures that she feels very proud of her sister and that she has achieved absolutely everything thanks to her great talent in the pop world.

Speaking to an American program, she said, "I am very proud of my sister's success but I miss having my own identity and being seen as a different person. I still struggle day by day with my self-esteem".

 

Britney Spears is finally free and can do what she wants with her life, The star could not touch a penny of the money she earned from her concerts. Nor could she take a car or go out with her partner without her guardian knowing about it.  In addition, she has wanted to break her silence and has lashed out against her father, even denouncing him.

But he has not been the only member of the Spears family who has gone wrong. The singer has also sentenced her mother and her sister Jamie-Lynn Spears for not having done anything during all this time.

After her sister's statements, Jamie-Lynn Spears has broken her silence on the issue of her sister's guardianship. The actress went on Good Morning America to promote the book about her memoirs: Things I Should Have Said.

 

Speaks about it

In front of the journalist Juju Chang, Jamie has spoken uncensored about the current relationship she has with her sister, explaining that things between them have become complicated in recent months:

"My love is still there 100 percent. I love my sister. I have loved her and supported her, doing the right thing by her. She knows that, so I don't know why we're in this situation right now."

"When it started, I was 17 and about to have a baby, so I didn't understand what was going on. I wasn't even focused on it. I was thinking about the fact that I was going to be a mother at 17."
