Kendall Jenner announced last February that she would launch her own brand of tequila, 818, made in the town of Tequila, in Jalisco. From that moment, the model unleashed a series of criticisms on social networks where they accused her of cultural appropriation.
Now, Kylie Jenner's sister has sparked controversy again after launching several promotional items as part of her brand's advertising campaign in which she can be seen riding a horse to take a tour of the blue agave fields.
One of the biggest criticisms generated in social media was due to discontent over the fact that Kendall Jenner wore a Mexican outfit, accusing her of wearing the wardrobe as a costume. Some users found it disrespectful to want to look like a Mexican when she is not.
The brand consists of three different tequilas: white, añejo and reposado, which she shown in their latest videos where the model is seen consuming their products in the company of her sisters and friends.
