Michelle Pfeiffer was absent of the People Choice Awards and here is the reason

At the last moment of the People's Choice Awards celebration many  celebs pulled out of the event. One of the most notorious absence was Michelle Pfeiffer.

This night was supposed to be special for the “What Lies beneath” actress, because of her nomination as best actress in a limited series or movie made for television thanks to her role in the First Lady.

Pfieffer is a long term career actress well known by her multifaceted roles just like her  big jump into cinema as Elvira Hancock on Scarface, to the countess Ellen Olenska in “The age of innocence” or her sexy role as Catwoman.

Michelle Pfeiffer apologies for her absence 

In an Instagram post, the Catwoman actress apologizes for not being present at the ceremony. After being positive testers for Covid-19, Pfieffer and her co-stars decided to watch the awards show.

“I’m so sorry to be missing the Critics Choice Awards today,” she wrote. “Especially disappointed not to witness @thejeffbridges receive his Lifetime Achievement Award. Pauline Kail said it best — “He (Jeff) may be the most natural and least self-conscious actor that has ever lived.”
