Prince Harry launches strong statements against the royal family

Far from reconciliation, Harry accuses monarchy of treason

Prince Harry seems to be very convinced to reconcile with his family. In a preview of his interview with ITV, the Duke of Sussex assured that he would like his dad, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William, to get back together as a family, but his efforts seem to be fruitless.

"They have shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile," Harry says in the conversation. "I'd like my father back. I'd like to have my brother back."

Royal biographer Tom Bower, who wrote Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, told Page Six in an exclusive interview in October that Harry's efforts to downplay the family feud in his memoir in light of Queen Elizabeth II's death would be unsuccessful.

Harry shared that he seeks to have a "family" rather than an "institution," though he feels the family feels differently about him and his wife Meghan Markle.

"I think everyone knows the Sussexes can't change the book in any way," he opined. "Can they make it more unpleasant? Because otherwise, we won't get sales."

"And there will be more material about how they were snubbed and all the rest of the invective against the royal family," he added. "So I think to that extent, the delay will add to the venom."
