She recently married Joe Jonas, with whom she shares baby daughter Willa Jonas, and now the 'Game of Thrones' actress will join 'The Staircase' limited series at HBO Max. But her past was not always this good.

The British actress, who is 5'9" tall, has given a series of interviews in which she has spoken about the problems that she has lived through during the years that she has played Sansa Stark. After recounting her mental problems during this time, she has revealed the pressures that she went through to lose weight.

The interpreter came to the HBO series as a little girl who grew up over the years, something that can be seen in the show. Sophie Turner had to grow up under the media focus or the fans, which was not a good experience on a mental level, as the actress has revealed during an interview with the magazine Marie Claire in its Australian version. 

"Suddenly, my metabolism changed and decided to fall into the depths of the ocean," explained Sophie Turner, speaking of a time when, as a teenager, her body began to have some spots and to gain weight. "All this was happening to me in front of the camera," she pointed out, revealing what that might entail.
