Instagram model Sydney Chase has finally confirmed she received Tristan Thompson’s cease-and-desist letter — but took to her favorite platform Wednesday to state that she won’t be acquiescing to the basketball player’s attorney Marty Singer’s missive.
“I finally received the cease & desist hours after I made my post online,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “It was first sent to an email I no longer use. However, I’m moving forward with the truth & am choosing not to comply.
“I will not be called a liar,” she concluded. According to Page Six, when she was asked if she had any evidence of their alleged affair, Sydney Chase said, “Yes, I obviously do but this is now a legal matter that lawyers will handle. Thanks.” It’s unclear if she’s hired an attorney.
30-year-old Tristan Thompson sent Sydney Chase, 23, and the “No Jumper” podcast the threatening letter, prompting the podcast to remove the segment in which the model claimed she slept with the Boston Celtics player in January, while he was “on” with his on-again-off-again partner Khloé Kardashian.
