The reasons why Wednesday series is leaving Netflix.

Jenna Ortega's show could change platform, you will have to continue watching the series in a different way. 

This 2022 was full of great productions that broke records on the Netflix platform and one of them was the series "Merlina".

The highly acclaimed series starring Jenna Ortega became a sensation thanks to the new version of Wednesday, as well as the Addams family.

This show directed by Tim Burton, gave a darker touch to the versions we already knew of the mysterious girl who has captivated us for decades.

Likewise, the media Deadline assures that the series will be renewed for a second season and would stay on Netflix, as this is not the only series that is going through the same thing.

Other productions such as "Fargo", "The Handmaid's tale", "Last light", among others are under MGM's rights but are produced by others such as Hulu, FX and more.

So now it is only expected to confirm the second season of the hit series in which Christina Ricci and Catherine Zeta Jones also participate.

 

Is 'Merlina' leaving Netflix?


Despite the enormous success of the series, a number of rumors have surfaced that it could leave the platform that created it and move to one of its competitors.

That is to say that the series starring the 20-year-old could now be on Amazon Prime Video because this platform recently bought the famous MGM company for 8.45 billion dollars.
