
Stranger Things season 4 faced an extensive delay because of the pandemic. The show did start filming again in late 2020 and has been in production ever since. Stranger Things 4 is what millions of fans have been waiting for, and the fourth season is not going to disappoint, especially after that wild teaser that was released in May 2021.
In season 4, the Stranger Things kids will be crossing paths with all-new characters and facing new enemies. Netflix released a new teaser featuring the return of Dr. Brenner and has already announced a whopping 8 new cast members.
The Strangers Things team hinted that big things were coming when they posted a cryptic video on May 5. The video was titled “HNL Control Room” and featured 7 analog TV screens arranged in a circle as music played in the background. Static noise was only on the screens until the TVs turned on one at a time for a few seconds.
Stranger Things season 4 was confirmed by Netflix in September 2019. The streaming service released a season 4 announcement video on September 30, 2019, and it teased an ominous message: “We’re not in Hawkins anymore.” Netflix has not announced an official release date for season 4 yet.
